Mary Goff, MS, instructs Oceanography, Advanced Biology, and Advanced Physical Science at Crater High School. Her areas of interest include Archaea and the role of microbes in evolution. She describes herself as a ocean-going “Jill of all trades,” having worked as a US Fish and Wildlife Service biological technician, leader of international whale watching expeditions, commercial fisherwoman, ship’s stewardess, founder of a natural history center, and a marine education specialist.
