Co-Chief Scientist Deb Kelley looks on as Robert Fuhrmann, Dave Randle, and Deb Glickson finally free the outer barrel from the inner tube of the MSI (Microbial Sulfide Incubator). The outer sleeve of this instrument was locked in place by encrusted minerals and the struggle to remove it lasted over an hour.
