Ben Larson prepares a resistivity probe which is used to measure the chloride or salt content of hydrothermal fludis emanating from "black smoker" chimneys. Even though this instrument is very sophisticated, Ben still uses duct tape to keep all the parts together for launching the instrument to the seafloor.
